For CA firms: schedules you can file, with the vouchers behind every row

Before you sign, see the figure and the vouchers under it.

Tallycon answers questions about a client's TallyPrime books as a schedule: headline, summary, a table with a Total row, and the vouchers behind each row. Put it in the file as it is, in Excel or PDF.

An audit-trail answer: 56 vouchers altered after entry and 48 saved 30 or more days late, 104 in total, with the late vouchers open beside the table and Excel and PDF buttons
Asked: “Which vouchers were altered after entry or saved more than 30 days late in 2025-26? One row per check with its count, and a total.”

1. Checks that take an afternoon by hand

Check What you get
Audit trail Vouchers altered after entry; entries saved 30 or more days late, saved before their date, or saved after the year closed; cancelled, optional and post-dated vouchers; entries by user; ledgers created or altered; gaps and duplicates in each voucher-number series
Cash over the Income-tax limits Cash receipts of ₹2 lakh or more from one person in a day, cash payments over ₹10,000 to one person in a day, cash loans taken and repaid against the ₹20,000 limit, read against the outstanding balance. Each row labelled with its section under the Income-tax Act, 1961 or 2025 by its date
TDS Deducted by section, deductee, month or quarter; deductees without PAN; lines where the tax is not the stated rate; deducted against paid, checked against each TDS ledger's totals
GST Output tax and input credit by rate and HSN, with exceptions such as bills that state a rate but post no GST, or a taxable sales line without HSN
GSTR-2B Load the month's 2B file and ask which bills are not in it and how much credit is at risk, with the bills as proof
Receivables and payables Bill-wise ageing with the amount received on account, and a party's statement with the receipts that settled each bill
Bank A bank reconciliation as on a date

Some of these TallyPrime has no built-in report for: cash receipts of ₹2 lakh or more from one person in a day, and cash loans taken and repaid against the ₹20,000 limit.

Tally already reconciles GSTR-2B, exports GSTR-1 and takes IMS actions. Tallycon does not redo them; it answers the questions around them, with vouchers.

2. A working paper, not a chat reply

  • Numbered schedules with a Total or Net row set between a rule and a double rule.
  • Excel with three sheets: the answer in raw rupees, every voucher, and every Dr and Cr line for pivots.
  • PDF of the schedule, followed by each voucher it cites.
  • The cost of each answer is shown under it.

3. Many clients, kept apart

Add each client's Tally address; switch client and company from the status bar. Each client's conversations, question log and 2B files are kept in its own folder, so two clients with the same company name never share anything. The Clients page lists every client with its books period, last question, and this month's questions and cost.

4. Coming for firms

These are built and tested, and open with our hosted service:

  • Sign-in by email code or Google Workspace, with partner, staff and owner roles.
  • Staff see only the clients a partner assigns them, in the app, on remote devices and at our proxy.
  • A web console for partners: people, seats, devices, client access, usage and spending caps.
  • A tamper-evident log on your own machine of who asked what, for which client, exportable as CSV.

5. Supported Tally

Verified on TallyPrime 7.1; TallyPrime 3.0 and later should work. Tally.ERP 9 works with limits (no save times for the audit checks, slower reads), and Tallycon says so when it connects.
